  • Is there a fee to participate in Growing Local Learning®?
    No, participation in the website is completely free.
  • What happens to my earnings if I choose to change my registered school?
    Any previous earnings will go to your formerly registered school and any future earnings will go to the new school
  • How can I find more information about the Box Tops for Education program?
  • Does my school need to be a registered Box Tops for Education school to participate in Growing Local Learning®?
    Yes. If your school is not registered with BTFE, please visit www.boxtops4education.com for information on how to become registered.
  • Are all of the Box Tops for Education brands participating in Growing Local Learning®?
    Not at this time. Only General Mills products are participating in Growing Local Learning®.
  • What products participate in GLL?
  • Can I enter multiple codes?
    Yes, you can enter as many register receipt and peel-off codes as you would like.
  • When will my school receive the money?
    Schools will receive up to two checks per year, in December and April. The December check includes all Bonus Box Top earnings accrued through Growing Local Learning® from March 1 to October 31, totaling $20.00 or more. (If the total is less than $20.00, this amount will be carried over and paid in the April check. Similarly, if the April total is less than $20.00, the amount will be carried over and paid in the subsequent December check.) The April check includes all Bonus Box Top earnings carried over from the December period (totaling under $20.00), as well as earnings accrued through growing local learning from November 1 through February 28.
  • Do the earnings reflected in my personal profile reflect my school's total earnings?
    Your personal earnings will show the number of cumulative Bonus Box Tops you have earned since registering for the Growing Local Learning® program. Box Tops and Bonus Box Tops earned outside of the Growing Local Learning® program will not appear within these earnings.
  • Can I enter Box Tops clipped from packages?
    No, those will still need to be turned in to your Box Tops for Education Coordinator.
  • What do I do if I can't find my school?
    First, check to make sure that your school is in fact registered with Box Tops for Education. If it is and you still cannot find it, please contact our customer service rep who will look into the issue.
  • Can I give to multiple schools?
    You can only earn cash for one school per promotion, but you can change your preferred school in your personal profile. If you change your preferred school, any previous earnings will go to the formerly selected school, and any future earnings will go to your newly selected school.
  • I'm a registered BTFE coordinator, is there anything exciting for me?
    Yes! The first step is to make sure that you have selected that you are a coordinator in your personal profile section. You will need your school ID # to verify that you are a coordinator. You will then see a coordinator tab which will give coordinators access to exclusive content like: printable parent letters, updated participating product lists, and starting April 1st - a forum to talk to other coordinators from around the country. Be sure to check the site often as we will be updating it frequently.
